Heavy Forklifts
Hyundai is targeting a new customer base with their new array of heavy forklift trucks. A variety of businesses, from the natural stone and concrete industries, to the steel industry, the transportation of heavy goods in the ports and the railway sector are all depending on and working with heavy duty machines. The power and efficiency offered by the models keep operational costs low and provide the very best conditions for economical work. These equipment can excel in the most tough environments.
Offering the necessary power on all of the large capacity units, the Cummins diesel engine ranges from 162 horse-power to 250 horse-power. TierIII emission standards are met with engines that have 6 cylinders. These models could take the truck up to a speed of 35 km/h. It provides for a high climbing ability on steep slopes and rough terrain and offers great acceleration as well.
To be able to select 1 of 2 driving modes, the operator can use a switch. When in "Power" mode, full power is available for work on tough terrain or heavy loads. In the "STP" mode, the trucks are able to save lots of fuel during light-duty work. In addition, simply by pressing a switch, the operator can automatically maintain a selected speed without touching the accelerator pedal. This is another fuel saving feature. The fully automatic transmission of the forklift gently shifts through the gears, making the machinery easy to maneuver and comfortable to operate.
A spacious and comfortable working place is provided by a well-ventilated cabin. The cabin combines fatigue-free work with high performance. The powerful air conditioning and heating system helps ensure the operator has a comfortable interior. The cab was ergonomically designed to offer a bird's eye view of all of the controls, in addition to the unit's overall safety. An MP3 player and a CD player put the finishing touches on giving the enjoyable atmosphere that Hyundai machines are supposed to have.
