Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic lift trucks provide versatility and height. These units are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm which extends over the top of the truck. The arm, or crane, is known as a telescopic boom. The boom enables the operator to maintain a high degree of control while lifting the cargo to great heights. Standard lift trucks could not move the load towards and away from the cab of the forklift, whereas a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is usually utilized in both construction and agriculture. It is better for applications where greater control and lift is required.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are recommended in situations requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which allow the operator to utilize uniform clamping force when lifting a load. It is available with a backrest that protects the loads from damage.
A sleep sheet lift truck would usually utilize a slip sheet attachment for storing systems that don't use pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This type of system is handy for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A lift platform that is meant to lift employees is known as a Man Basket. It attaches to the forklift forks and a chain or strap is used to attach the basket to the lift truck carriage. The platform has railings to protect the personnel from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are used for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
