Our unique grabs deal with a range of materials from cement, iron ores, coke, fertilizers, scrap and refuse, amongst a variety of other products. SMAG/Peiner has been represented by Peiner USA, Inc. for more than 12 years in the US market place. Various industries like for instance Steel Mills, Waste to Energy, Scrap Handling, Bulk Transfer Facilities and numerous other material handling facilities are presently relying on our buckets and grabs to get their jobs done.



The design philosophy at Peiner has always revolved around delivering grabs that deal with the largest volume of material vs. grab dead weight. The standard handling ratio for Peiner buckets and grabs is about 60/40, meaning material dead weight of 60 percent vs. grab dead weight of 40 percent. This means moving greater quantities of materials quicker. There is less wear and tear on the crane structure and its related parts. By combining high quality materials and innovative design with manufacturing, the desirable weight ratio is attained.



Grab sizes would vary from 1 cubic yard or less to more than 50 cubic yards in order to meet the requirements of the client. Peiner USA Inc. additionally offers a complete spare parts facility and service facility for the units purchased within the United States, as well as the addition of brand new buckets and grabs.
