End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are common in the material handling business for their extreme flexibility. These machinery have superior performance features that are somewhat like sit-down electric lift truck units.
These forklift units are great for warehouse settings that have limited space. The space needed to utilize these machinery are less than the three-wheel electric forklift truck needs. These machines are an ideal choice for applications that need regular off and on access, as their stand-up design is an excellent characteristic.
The reach truck is a loading equipment used by a variety of companies that maintain a storage facility involving the arrangement of finished products on pallets and materials that are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides simple and safe retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great option for individuals who prefer to store pallets of products they do not require for immediate use in a safe and efficient way.
The standard reach truck model is outfitted with an out-rigging mechanism located on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping forks that move down and up are mounted to the out-rigging. The forks also have a hydraulic system which enables the driver to lift the load and move it over the out-riggers. This particular design not just gives more balance to the overall load, but makes it very easy for the reach truck to move between the storage shelves into narrow aisles.
When the designated shelf has been identified, the hydraulic tines swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into place. Normally, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet wide with no trouble, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
