About Nilfisk

The company was first established in the 1900's in Denmark, although Nilfisk was founded in Canada during the mid-1940's. Nilfisk-Advance has been helping both business and home owners around the world with their cleaning requirements for over a century.



Nilfilsk sources their machine components from countries throughout the European Union. Manufacturing for products occurs within Hungary and Sweden, with engineering and testing. Starting in the production of vacuums in the year 1909, Nilfisk has since progressed to making and advertising HEPA central vacuums and central vacuums. Nilfisk started making vacuums in the year 1909. The company began marketing central vacuums during 1988, then manufacturing them during the year 1993. In 2004, Nilfisk started making quiet, high-performance HEPA central vacuums.
